Our Mission
NAMI Fox Valley exists to improve the quality of life for those with brain disorders (mental illness) and their families and friends through education, support, advocacy and research.
Our Vision
Through our individual and collective efforts, we will live in a community where mental illnesses are recognized as physical illnesses and treated as such.
NAMI WALKS
NAMI WALKS for the Mind of America is a fundraising, stigma busting and mental health awareness event. In 2009, an estimated 117,000 walkers in 82 communities across the country, raised over $8.5 million to ensure more advocacy, education and support services are available to those in need.
